President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, June 3, 2023, paid a visit to the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) and the National Counter Terrorism Centre
He was received by the NSA, Major General Mohammed Monguno (rtd), and other top officials at National Counter Terrorism Centre.
Following the appointments of the Chief of Staff to the President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, speculation has been rife about who will emerge as Tinubu’s NSA.

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani hinted that the former Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has been appointed as NSA
He posted, “The appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as the new NSA is commendable.
“I was quite aware of the vicious and envious persons who ensured that Ribadu was denied any appointment in the last eight years because of the reason that he was not a buharist.
“The challenge before him is addressing our security challenges. I wish him all the best.”
