The initiative, which took place on Tuesday, unfolded at the NNPC retail station located on Abacha Road in Karu.

Amidst the turmoil caused by the recent subsidy removal, which led to an alarming surge in petrol prices ranging from N578 to N617 depending on the state, many Nigerians have been grappling with the implications on their daily lives. The Okada riders, who heavily rely on fuel to sustain their livelihoods, found themselves disproportionately affected by this price surge.
Understanding the plight of these riders, La Buena Vida stepped in to provide assistance.
Each Okada rider was entitled to receive 5 litres of free fuel, helping them save crucial funds and ensure continued operations. The impact of this initiative was palpable as the riders expressed their gratitude for the support they received during these trying times.
