Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has revealed the true reason behind her painful decision to sever ties with her biological mother, Margareth Glover-Addy.
In her controversial book titled ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,’ the actress disclosed that she distanced herself from her mother following two unsuccessful DNA tests.
Yvonne Nelson explained that her mother intentionally withheld the identity of her father, leaving her in a state of confusion and disconnected from her true heritage.

Her mother provided two potential names, Mr. Nelson and Ala Adjetey, as possible fathers, but subsequent DNA tests proved neither to be her biological father.
In her candid book, Yvonne Nelson shared that her mother eventually expelled her from their home after she persisted in her quest to discover her father’s identity. Consequently, their relationship has been strained for approximately a year, lacking the warmth and cordiality that once existed between them.
