Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who is representing the Anambra South Senatorial District in the upper legislative chamber has dumped the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This disclosure was contained in a letter read by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio on Thursday, October 12, during a brief plenary session.
Ubah who won another term of 4 years during the February 25th election, noted in the letter that his decision to defect was due to irreconcilable differences in the YPP party.
Furthermore, the letter explained that Ubah’s decision was in the interest of his constituents.
The senator had joined the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in 2019.
