President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of DCG Kemi Nanna Nandap as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
The decision, effective from March 1, 2024, was announced by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President.
Replacing Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term ends on February 29, 2024, DCG Nandap brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Prior to this appointment, she served as the Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate of the Service.
President Tinubu expressed confidence in DCG Nandap’s ability to advance ongoing reforms within the service. He stressed the importance of enhancing service delivery to Nigerians while bolstering national security through proactive border security measures and effective migration management.
