Former Nigerian Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, has voiced her concerns over President Bola Tinubu’s academic records, following the recent release of these records by Chicago State University (CSU).
In a statement shared on Twitter, Ezekwesili expressed her belief that Tinubu could have spared Nigeria from embarrassment by proactively requesting CSU to publish his academic credentials.
Ezekwesili emphasized that such a gesture would have demonstrated transparency and leadership, sparing the nation from the ongoing controversy. She lamented the tendency of Nigerian leaders to shy away from transparency, which she believes is essential to maintaining the country’s integrity on the global stage.
According to Ezekwesili;
How so much easier it would have been for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu to have saved the country and people the embarrassment of this Chicago State University -CSU court case by instantly and voluntarily asking the institution to publish his academic credentials!
How difficult…
