Recently dismissed from his position at Roma, Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering the prospect of joining Al Shabab following his exit from the Italian club.
The official announcement of Mourinho’s departure from Roma occurred just three days ago, with Daniele de Rossi already appointed as the interim coach. While Mourinho’s future remains uncertain, there are indications that he may be exploring opportunities outside of Europe.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, Mourinho has expressed openness to the idea of joining Al Shabab, a prospect that has piqued the interest of the Portuguese manager. Dejan Stankovic, who has both played under Mourinho and managed against him during his tenure at Sampdoria, is also being considered for the position.
The likelihood of Mourinho’s potential move to Al Shabab hinges on negotiations between his representatives and the club. Both parties seem inclined to embark on a new chapter together. If Mourinho were to be appointed as the new manager of Al Shabab, his first match would be a friendly against Roma on January 24th.
It’s worth noting that Al Shabab, initially linked with Matteo Politano, has shifted its focus to Suso as a potential transfer target, abandoning the pursuit of the former.
