Guinness World Record is about to welcome another Nigerian trailblazer Tonye Solomon on board.
The Nigerian hailing from Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has established a record for climbing the most steps (150) on a ladder while balancing a football (soccer ball) on his head.
According to Guinness World Record, Solomon accomplished this remarkable feat on August 10, driven by his desire to challenge himself and inspire others to achieve greatness. “He dedicated two months to training for this attempt until he was confident that he could secure the record.”

Such an incredible achievement is truly inspiring and deserves recognition. “We are proud of you, Champ!” exclaimed Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, on Twitter.
Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey previously set a precedent by breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual). The chef, also known as Hilda Baci, gained widespread attention across social media in May when she endeavored to surpass the record previously held by India’s Lata Tondon.
