The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday said former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike is in the best position to tell Nigerians if he is still a member of the party.
Wike, who has been nominated by President Bola Tinubu as a minister paid a visit to the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje at his residence today.

Though details of the meeting is still sketchy, there are feelers that Wike who worked against the interest of the PDP in the 2023 presidential election will soon defect to APC.
When contacted by QUESTTIMES and asked if Wike is still a PDP member, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary of the party said the former governor is in the best position to tell Nigerians the party he belongs to.
“Go and ask Wike. He is the one who can tell Nigerians the party he belongs to. Better still, you can ask his wars chairman because membership of a party is from the ward level. I am not a custodian of the records” Ologunagba said.
Many Nigerians are wondering why the PDP has failed to take disciplinary action against Wike and members of the PDP G-5 for the roles they played in the 2023 general elections.
