The Federal Airport Authorities of Nigeria, FAAN, has apologised for the power outage experienced at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport late Friday.
In a statement on its Twitter handle Saturday, FAAN said the outage was caused by the rain.
Recall that many passengers were stranded Friday, April 1, after a power outage hit a section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

It was learned that the departure lounge of the International Airport, Lagos, was the most affected on Friday night.
“I suffered while boarding. Power just suddenly went off,” a passenger identified as Ayodele, said.
Reacting, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, blamed “natural occurrence” for the power outage.
