As exclusively reported by QUESTTIMES, President Bola Tinubu has appointed former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike as Minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while ex-Ebonyi state governor Dave Umahi has been assigned to the Ministry of Works.
President Tinubu had earlier transmitted 48 ministerial nominees to the Nigerian Senate for screening.
The nominees who were screened without portfolios have now been assigned to their various ministries.
Also as exclusively reported, Wale Edun who served as Tinubu’s commissioner for finance from 1999-2007 has also been handed the reins ofthe Finance Ministry.
