In an exciting pre-season friendly match at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Arsenal pulled off a thrilling 5-3 victory against Barcelona, thanks to Leandro Trossard’s two brilliant goals.
Mikel Arteta’s team had to make a comeback against the Spanish champions, and they did it in style. Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz scored twice in the first half to level the game for Arsenal before Trossard took charge in the second half and netted two crucial goals to put the Gunners in control.
Fabio Vieira later scored an incredible fifth goal for Arsenal, responding to Ferran Torres’ late goal for Barcelona.

The match took place at the home stadium of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring after seven minutes, capitalizing on Raphinha’s saved attempt. However, Saka quickly equalized for Arsenal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he missed a penalty later in the first half.

Raphinha’s free-kick deflected off Martin Odegaard into the net, but Arsenal’s new signing, Havertz, responded with a goal before the halftime whistle, making it 2-2.
In the second half, Trossard showed his skills as he calmly rolled the ball into the bottom corner for his first goal in the 55th minute. He didn’t stop there and added his second with a first-time finish from Kieran Tierney’s pass.
Barcelona fought back with Torres scoring two minutes before the final whistle, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Arsenal’s impressive display. Vieira’s fantastic long-range shot sealed the deal for the Gunners.
With this morale-boosting victory, Arsenal, who finished as Premier League runners-up in the last season, will be looking forward to their upcoming season opener against Manchester City, the Treble winners, in the Community Shield at Wembley on 6 August.
