CEO of Twitter, Linda Yaccarino, has revealed the social media site’s new logo, which features a white X on a black background.
This new logo will replace the well-known blue bird that represents Twitter.
In a tweet on Monday morning, Linda Yaccarino announced the change, saying “X is here! Let’s do this.”

According to Twitter’s owner, Elon Musk, the term “tweets” will also be replaced, and instead, posts will be called “x’s.” To show his commitment to the rebranding, Elon Musk changed his Twitter profile picture to the new logo and added “X.com” to his Twitter bio.
Elon Musk has been talking about his vision for a new kind of social media platform called “X,” which he refers to as a “super app,” and he now aims to make it a reality.

On Sunday, Elon Musk expressed his intention to change Twitter’s logo, stating in a tweet: “And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.” He also shared an image of the new X branding projected onto the side of Twitter headquarters in San Francisco.
The business name has been changed to X Corp, and Mr. Musk believes that this change should have been done a long time ago.

In a Twitter Spaces audio chat, Elon Musk confirmed that the Twitter logo will indeed be changed to the new X logo.
Linda Yaccarino sees the rebranding as an exciting opportunity, as Twitter has already made a significant impact on how people communicate globally, and she believes “X” will take it even further, transforming the global town square.
Twitter’s blue bird, affectionately named Larry, is being retired, and many people, including the logo’s designer, Martin Grasser, expressed their sadness over the loss of the iconic logo.
Elon Musk has always shown a fascination with the letter X, and it has been a part of his previous ventures, including X.com, an online banking platform that was later merged with PayPal.
Apart from his involvement with Twitter, Elon Musk is also known as the CEO of SpaceX, an aerospace company, and he recently launched his artificial intelligence start-up, xAI, which aims to create an alternative to ChatGPT. Additionally, his first child with musician Grimes is named X Æ A-12 Musk.
