Napoli and Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen, is being advised to consider Chelsea over Manchester United for his potential transfer. The counsel comes from former Super Eagles Media Officer and ESPN pundit, Colin Udoh.
According to Udoh, Chelsea has a positive history with Nigerian players, citing the successes of Celestine Babayaro, Mikel Obi, and Victor Moses.
Osimhen, who recently extended his contract with Napoli until 2026, is attracting interest from top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United. Real Madrid is also in the hunt for a prominent striker for the upcoming season.
Colin Udoh emphasized Chelsea’s favorable track record with Nigerian talents, expressing his belief that it would be an excellent destination for Osimhen. He specifically urged against a move to Manchester United, stating, “The one place I wouldn’t like to see him go, no matter what happens or no matter how much money they give him, is Manchester United.”
Osimhen, presently representing Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations, is set to lead the line in the upcoming clash against the Indomitable Lions.
