Former president cum presidential aspirant for 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, has deleted his post condemning the murder of a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, after being threatened by extremists over his presidential aspiration.
Quest Times earlier reported that a female student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, Deborah Samuel, was burnt to death by her colleagues for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Following the development, the school authority shut down academic activities indefinitely as tension gripped residents of the area.

Reacting to the development on Thursday, Atiku in a post on his social media handles, condemned the incident, declaring that all those behind the killing must be brought to book.
He wrote, “There cannot be a justification for such gruesome murder. Deborah Yakubu was murdered, and all those behind her death must be brought to justice. My condolences to her family and friends.”
Quest Times understands that the presidential aspirant, after several threats by some religious extremists on his handles, deleted the post because of his presidential ambition.
