Brazilian defender Alex Telles has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester United to Al-Nassr.
The 30-year-old left-back is reuniting with his former United teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the Saudi Pro League side in January.
The specific details regarding the transfer fee and the length of Telles’ contract with Al-Nassr have not been disclosed by either club. During his time at Manchester United, Telles made 50 appearances after joining from Porto for £13.6 million in 2020. However, he spent the last season on loan at Sevilla.

Telles now follows suit as the latest Premier League player to make the switch to the Saudi league, joining the likes of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.
At Manchester United, Telles competed with England’s Luke Shaw for the left-back position. Due to limited first-team opportunities, he opted for a loan move to Sevilla last season, where he made 38 appearances, including starting in their Europa League final victory over Roma on penalties.
In response to Telles’ departure, Manchester United expressed their gratitude for his contributions to the club over the past three years and extended their best wishes for his future endeavors.
