Barcelona has decided to cancel their pre-season friendly match against Juventus in the United States due to an outbreak of a stomach bug among the players.
The match was scheduled to take place in Santa Clara, California, as part of the Soccer Champions Tour, but a significant number of Barcelona squad members have been affected by viral gastroenteritis.
As a result of the illness outbreak, Juventus will instead conduct a training session at Levi’s Stadium. Barcelona’s next Soccer Champions Tour game is set to be against Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, which is scheduled for 19:30 local time on Wednesday.
