A delegation from the Lagos State government, headed by Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, extended their support during a visit to Mohbad’s mother on Tuesday.
In addition to Dr. Hamzat, the delegation included Mr. Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to the Governor; Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the Commissioner for Youth; Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, the Commissioner for Information; and Mr. Idris Aregbe, the Special Adviser on Tourism.
During the visit, Deputy Governor Dr. Hamzat offered assurance to the family, promising that justice would prevail in the matter. He also revealed that the Department of State Security (DSS) would collaborate with the police in conducting a thorough investigation.

Furthermore, Dr. Hamzat announced the government’s commitment to provide assistance to the family in their time of need. He emphasized that Mohbad’s child would receive the necessary care and support.
