Nigeria’s average data price is said to be among the lowest worldwide, according to the World of Statistics.
This was made known by the data body on Thursday through its official Twitter handle, highlighting the cost of 1 gigabyte of data across 39 countries, including the United States, Israel, South Africa, Italy, India, Nigeria and the Falkland Islands.
The statement added that the average cost for 1GB of data in Nigeria is N327.10 ($0.71) which is lower compared to South Africa, which is N939.93 (R39.63 or $2.04).
According to the report, Israel has the lowest average cost of 1GB of data costing $0.04, followed by Italy, which is $0.12.
