The organizers of the popular Reality TV show, Big Brother Naija All Stars, and one of its housemates, Venita Akpofure, also known as Venita, are facing a lawsuit from the Tiv nation due to what they deem as misguided comments made on the show.
The Tiv nation’s former lawmaker, Gbe Benjamin Oruden, and their paramount ruler, James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse, expressed their intent to take legal action against the show’s organizers.
An official statement has been issued, urging the show to request Venita to retract her comment. In her statement, Venita had claimed that the Tiv people had a cultural practice where men offered their wives to visitors for intimate encounters.

In response to this controversy, Orduen took to social media and posted a lengthy message, demanding a prompt retraction of Venita’s comment.
He also called out BBNaija, asserting that the show was complicit in defaming an entire tribe.

Iorza Kelvin Nenge: “This is a good move she must go on her knees to apologize and tell the truth to others as she tells lies”
