Former Aston Villa captain, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has issued a warning to Arsenal regarding the potential signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea this summer.
Arsenal is reportedly preparing to submit an initial bid of £55 million for the German international as they aim to strengthen their forward line for the upcoming season. Chelsea, on the other hand, is open to selling Havertz as they trim their squad ahead of the arrival of new manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is set to commence his duties on July 1.
However, Agbonlahor holds the belief that Havertz is not the right fit for Arsenal, as he finds the German player frustrating to watch.

“With Havertz, He’s frustrating to watch, isn’t he? Because you can tell there’s a player in there,” the former England international told talkSPORT.
“Last season [he scored] seven goals in 35 games. And there must be something that [Mauricio] Pochettino is thinking. ‘I can get 50-60 million for him. I’ve got my eyes on someone else who’s more clinical’.
“I don’t understand from an Arsenal point of view. Arsenal need a clinical striker, you know. Gabriel Jesus missed a lot of chances last season, [Eddie] Nketiah did as well. I don’t think he suits Arsenal. There are Arsenal fans on social media last night who don’t want him.”
